While staying at the RV park on Navy Station Mayport in Jacksonville, Florida we have spent an appreciable amount of time each day at the beach. The beach here is big, beautiful, and sparely populated. Those are a winning combination in our eyes!
The waves were scheduled to be best first thing in the morning, so we had some coffee/breakfast and headed straight to the beach. The kids love to alternate between, surfing, boogie boarding, and body surfing.
They weren’t huge waves, but they allowed everyone to have a great time in the water before we burned in the hot sun!
While I was enjoying the sun and my family’s photo session, I happened to look over my shoulder to the area further down the beach. A local Osprey had joined us at the beach looking for its own breakfast. I was lucky enough to grab pictures of it hunting and successfully capturing a fish.
Looks like a wonderful spot! Your pictures are great!
