Our 12 year old awning has decided that it is done with life and started pulling apart this week. We began debating on the next step forward – order a new awning or just tape this one together.
We had awning repair tape handy, so decided to repair while continuing to debate the pros/cons and methods forward.

New awning installed by us: $180 (awning) + $35 (rivet gun) + 8 hours work
New awning installed by someone else : $2000
