Cold vs Hot

This week we went to Mammoth Cave National Park. It was cool with the… wetness and the… people and the… smells and the lovely not air conditioning that felt like air conditioning.

It was 90 🥵 something outside and it felt amazing to go into the the caves and to make it worse we had sweatshirts and jackets on because we where told that the caves were chilly 🥶. Chilly meaning something around 55 degrees.

After we get in the caves we learn a lot about the history of the caves because we are on the Historical tour. There were a bunch of people in our tour like a lot of people like at least 💯 people.

Unfortunately we didn’t see any animals such as Cave Salamanders, Bats 🦇(which get a lot of diseases in the caves such as Rabies), Cave Crickets 🦗, and I forgot what else. Also unfortunately there were electric ⚡️ lights 💡 in the caves so we had light 😩☹️. I earned another Junior Ranger badge. I will add it to my wall when we get home.

That’s pretty much it

From Aleah: First you get a book, sometimes a scavenger hunt, maze, crosswords etc. It really depends on the Park.
