A Creamery for the Night

We didn’t make it in time to nab a spot at our planned First Come First Serve campground in Omaha, so we kept heading north while making some phone calls. We finally decided on a family run creamery in Larchwood, IA.

A bonus of this stop is definitely the fact that now we get to say we camped in Iowa too!

The creamery had a farm store that we had fun exploring and shopping. We bought two quarts of ice cream, cheese curds, and a homemade pizza with a sour dough crust. They even supplied a pizza oven to cook our pizza dinner!

Unfortunately, the evening didn’t cool down as quickly as I hoped and we went to bed hot! The kids got hot enough, that this is what the RV looked like in the morning.
