My favorite activity we did while in Austria was go on the Großglockner high alpine road, or Straße as they call it in Austria. On a three hour drive, we drove up almost to the top of Austria’s highest mountain, with the assistance of an audio tour alerting us to the notable sights. I enjoyed it greatly, and it was fun to point out all of the places on the mountain I remembered from the last time I was there. With its jaw dropping views, magnificent glaciers, and the ever adorable marmots, Großglockner definitely was one of the highlights of our trip.
