Today we attended the 156th family reunion/picnic of the Bull family. William Bull and Sarah Wells met and married in what is now Orange County, NY and built their homestead there. The Bull Stone House still stands and is owned by the family association. In fact the house has only been lived in by Bulls since it was built in 1722!
We went to our first picnic in 2016 and again in 2017 in order to celebrate 150 years of family gatherings.
A few years ago we also bought a paver for the new path to the front door. I love its homage to the ancestors and snapshot of the kid’s family tree.
