Heading east on I-10 put us near enough to Pensacola and the Bare family that we had to stop for a quick visit.
Kudos to Chuck and Ginny for their spontaneity in agreeing to park us in their driveway with three hours notice! it was an involved operation to get us in the driveway without scraping up all the cement, but Chuck was ready with all the extra wood we needed to keep our low side level enough.
Chuck was working from home while his Coast Guard cutter is in dry dock, so he acted as our tour guide and showed us around the area from his personal boat.
Robbie has grown a ton since we last saw him and taught us so much about airplanes that we felt no need to visit the Naval Aviation Museum.
