Quite a Day to Get Wet

Bother learning how to drive

This week we went on a boat ๐Ÿšค ride. We rented a Pontoon boat and a raft and some water skis. Bother and I rafted until our fingers felt like falling off. We both also tried waterskiing, neither of us were very good but we did try. We also saw a bunch of dark brown fish, maybe 10 inches long. They were right next to the raft and if we jumped off we probably could have touched one, if they didnโ€™t move. Mama was a pro at water skiing and Daddy detached one of the skis and Jack (who was supposed to be watching Daddy) didnโ€™t see, so we had to drive around until we found it again. Is it any surprise that I spotted it?

My turn on the raft

When we had lunch I was on the raft so I didnโ€™t get very many crackers.
The raft was very hard to get onto and we had quite a time trying to figure out how to balance the tiny thing. Bother would hang on to the back and would, once I was on the raft, demand to get pulled up by me; gee isnโ€™t he strong and manly and nice.

We fit!

We also saw some birds that dove into the water when we came near.
We rescued a floating blowup hotdog. Some kids had jumped into kayaks and were trying to get it and we gave it back to them once they got close enough.
One time Daddy threw a pool noodle or two and a plastic football ๐Ÿˆ at Bother while he was on the raft.
The raft was hardly big enough for one of us to ride but we tried very hard to fit both of us.
