A Wet Exploration

Today we went on a drive/walk/swim. We went to a visitor center and guess what! It was closed!!! We did get to see some baby American Alligators 🐊 though so that almost made up for it. They were very cute. We never got to see their mother though, and that was a real bummer.

After the Alligator nursery, we went to the beach. There were some really big waves 🌊 that easily towered over all of our heads. We had a lot of fun playing in the them because it was awesome surf for bodysurfing. So we spent half the day surfing and when we packed up, we went to look at more water.

These were the biggest waves we have seen!

We tried to go in a nature center but like the center before it, it was closed. We walked out on a long, large fishing pier. We saw a lot of birds like a Green Heron and a Great Blue Heron. There were a bunch of people fishing. One of the people fishing 🎣 caught a large Stingray.

Daddy had to help pull it up!

There was a whole episode with everyone trying to help release it but I won’t go in to that. Finally it was dropped back in the water πŸ’¦ and off it went. A short while later, when we finally got to go in the visitor center the guy there said that the mother alligator 🐊 was 6 feet long and would be seen close to her babies because they were so young. We got to see the baby alligators 🐊 again and we watched them for awhile Bother and I got to do a virtual reality head set tour of a lighthouse which was pretty cool.

We finished up with one last look at the baby alligators 🐊.
That is all!!!
