On Thursday we took a trip down to the Space Coast. The drive was over three hours even though it is also in Florida and we kept driving for at least another three looking at houses and neighborhoods. We stopped once for a gas break which probably made it longer, but not by much. Finally we arrived at our hotel, and let me tell you this place was nice. The people at the front desk gave Mom some hot chocolate chip walnut cookies. I gave mine to Aleah because I didn’t want it. So while they sat on the balcony and ate I looked around the room. Mom and Dad immediately claimed the big bed, so I had to sleep on the pullout couch while Aleah picked the one part of the couch that didn’t fold to sleep on. To make up for there being only one bed both rooms had TVs. They were kind of weird and hard to figure out, but I did finally manage to figure it out in time for bedtime. Anyway, before bedtime we went down to the water, because the waves looked killer. After around five minutes of Aleah and me playing by ourselves a girl swam over to us and introduced herself as Monika. We spent around six hours playing in the waves with her and later her sister too. After that we were getting kind of tired of the waves, and the parents wanted to get off of the sand, so we migrated to the pool and played there till around 9 pm. After a good nights rest we got back in the car at around 9 am and headed off back to the RV, never to come back
No “space” related activities on the space coast? Did your dad wing foil?
Regan and the kids did the Space Center a few years ago. It would have been nice to visit again but we were focused on seeing the area from a housing and living perspective.
Sounds like fun activities with a new friend!
